The frequency responce function is supported in TSV-POST.This function calculates the input frequency response from the normal mode analysis results obtained from solvers such as Nastran. This corresponds to the modal frequency response analysis function in Nastran (SOL 111). Once the normal mode data is saved, they can be combined within TSV-POST in order to perform frequency response analysis, so there is no need to return to the solver. Because the extra fast database of TSV-POST is used, the displacement, velocity, and acceleration responses of the specified nodes can be calculated instantaneously, even for models of 1 to 2 million nodes. Input nodes and response nodes can be picked from the GUI while displaying the calculated results, which is very convenient as well as efficient. The calculated results can be displayed as an XY graph for comparison. Also, the Windows environment allows the user to transfer data to Office applications such as Excel or Word using the clipboard, which provides efficiency for generating reports.
