Which CAD applications are supported?

TSV-Pre can import 3D geometry models created by various CAD applications by direct import or via intermediate files. Supported file types are Pro-E, Catia V4V5(VRML), I-DEAS(IDI), Parasolid, ACIS, STL, and BDF. Assembly models can also be imported.

What are the minimum hardware requirements for TSV-Pre?

CPU: Pentium4 2.4GHz or higher, Memory: 1GB or above, HDD: 20GB free space or more (depending on model size), 400MB for installation, VGA: True Color (32bit), VRAM: 128MB or above, VGA card supporting OpenGL.

The program will not be launched by double-clicking the desktop icon.
|

The driver of your VGA card could be old. Please obtain the latest version of your driver from the VGA card vendor's website.
|

The clip-cap function of the 3D mouse cannot be used.
|
 |
Due to the characteristics of OpenGL, the clip-cap function cannot be used if the interior of the model is not completely closed. In case any holes are detected, please perform a manual clean-up to close them.

After assembly, how can I define the nodes on the common faces as double-nodes?
|
 |
In order to change the common nodes on the common face into double-nodes, select the common face on the screen and click the SeparateFace command on the Load/Constraints tab.
